The Pitoa housing estate project, northeast of Garoua on the Gachiga road, aims to reduce the housing deficit in Cameroon by offering affordable construction, particularly through the use of local materials such as stabilized earth brick. On a 10-hectare site, it plans to build 200 housing units, divided between 142 villas (T3 and T4) and 58 collective housing units (T3, T4, T5), as well as several supporting facilities: health center, kindergarten and primary school, commercial space, security post, multi-sport complex, water tower and public garden.
