This trend reflects an increase in net profit of nearly 48 per cent between 2024 and 2025, whilst turnover rose by around 42 per cent over the same period.

A long-term financial trajectory

Looking beyond the 2025 financial year alone, the data provided by the SIC enables us to track the trends in several indicators since 2018.

Between 2018 and 2025, the balance sheet total rose from 107.7 billion to 170.4 billion CFA francs, whilst equity rose from 84.8 billion to 149.8 billion CFA francs. Net cash, which stood at around 510.4 million CFA francs in 2018, reached 2.58 billion CFA francs in 2025.

A comparison of the accounting results also reveals a significant change. Whilst the 2014–2018 period showed an average accounting loss of -2.60 billion CFA francs, the financial years 2019 to 2025 show an average accounting profit of 420.05 million CFA francs.

According to the indicators presented by the SIC, this trend is accompanied, between 2018 and 2025, by a 49.02 per cent increase in total assets, a 76.72 per cent increase in equity and a 404.67 per cent increase in net cash.

A performance driven by several aspects of the business

The 2025 financial year highlights the contribution made by a number of business activities to the Company’s turnover.

  • 1.64 billion CFA francs from sales of manufactured goods;
  • 3.13 billion CFA francs for works and services supplied;
  • 250.8 million CFA francs in incidental income.

These various components bring the turnover for the financial year to 5.02 billion CFA francs. The profit and loss account also shows value added of 3.35 billion CFA francs and an operating profit of 786.9 million CFA francs.

Audited accounts with an unqualified opinion

The financial statements for the 2025 financial year were audited by HLB ACP Central Africa, the SIC’s statutory auditor.

In his report to the General Meeting, the Statutory Auditor states that he has audited the balance sheet, the profit and loss account, the cash flow statement and the accompanying notes, in accordance, in particular, with ISA standards, the OHADA Uniform Act, the Revised SYSCOHADA and Law No. 2017/011 on the General Statute of Public Enterprises.

The report issues an unqualified opinion on the financial statements. The Statutory Auditor is of the opinion that, in all material respects, the financial statements for the financial year are in order and true and fair, and give a true and fair view of the results of the Company’s operations, as well as its financial position and assets.

The Statutory Auditor further states that he has no comments to make regarding the accuracy and consistency, with the financial statements, of the information contained in the management report and the other documents submitted to the Annual General Meeting.

A publication promoting transparency

The publication of the 2025 financial statements follows their approval by the SIC’s Combined General Meeting, held on 30 July 2026. It forms part of a commitment to transparency and good governance and enables the various stakeholders — public authorities, partners, investors, customers, employees and members of the public — to access the Company’s key financial information.

Based on these results, the 2025 financial year marks a new milestone in the financial trajectory set out by SIC, notably with a net profit of 878.5 million CFA francs, an increase in turnover and the maintenance of shareholders’ equity at a level of nearly 150 billion CFA francs.
